Job Summary The account manager plays a key role in managing the internal development process across our creative teams, as well as keeping client contacts fully in the know as to where their programs stand. Typical programs include integrated marketing campaigns, enterprise partner programs, video and animated story-telling projects, traditional, digital and social campaigns, live and online events and more. This role will serve as the primary point of contact for its assigned clients, as the point of intake for new requests, and playing a key role in gathering feedback to facilitate proactive planning in meeting the needs of the business. The Account Manager is responsible for the day-to-day execution of the client services for an assigned block of client groups. This person has to ensure new client group onboarding and retention metrics are successfully met at all levels. This is done primarily through the coordination and performance of successful new enrollments and re-enrollments for our client group accounts. This entails working with clients to identify their needs and work out how the company can best meet those requirements while delivering the highest levels of customer service. They become the primary contact to the client group’s respective administration team day to day through the year. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: The following reflects management’s definition of essential functions for this job but does not restrict the tasks that may be assigned. Management may assign or reassign duties and responsibilities to this job at any time for business reasons. Handles all service and eligibility related issues related to their assigned client account’s in working with internal service team members to ensure positive resolution. Works with internal sales team to provide internal RFP responses for both product and service we provide Oversees inforce plan renewal and management, as well as carrier marketing when appropriate for each specific client group account to create and delivery of market analysis. Coordinates the open enrollment project plan with the client group head, including enroller schedules and location attendance, and oversight of respective employee benefit consultants assigned to enrollment case projects Responsible for overseeing the setup of client group case enrollments by working with the client group and assigned case coordinator / TurnKey system team members in order to gather all pertinent information and ensure successful delivery of the enrollment system for open enrollment. Selects and modifies employee orientated presentations and other enrollment communication materials for client group enrollments, attend and present at client meetings to assist with or deliver group presentations. Ensures that enroller training materials are put together correctly and communicated to each enroller assigned to the enrollment. This includes agent licensing and their respective carrier contracting is completed prior to each enrollment QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent; minimum 3 years of experience in the insurance industry required Must obtain and preserve required licenses/certifications as required Familiar with a variety of field’s concepts, practices and procedures. Able to multitask, prioritize, and manage time efficiently Able to work in a team environment as well as independently Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint and applicable technology Strong interpersonal skills; effective oral and written communications both internally and externally Must be able to travel based on client and business needs Flexibility and adaptability; energetic and self-driven About Us Since 1971, AmeriLife has served the needs of its clients.
