Indian & Forest Acres Camp, a premier brother/sister sleep-away camp in the White Mountains of Maine, (3 hours outside Boston, 1 hour outside of Portland, ME) is currently looking for qualified Ceramics Instructors. We are interested in hiring an individual who can instruct and guide campers in creating artistic pieces using clay and other materials. Counselors also live in a cabin with campers.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES OF A CERAMICS COUNSELOR

  • Guide and instruct campers in how shape, form, and mold artworks out of clay, often using a potters wheel and other tools.
  • Knowledgeable about operating a Kiln.

Education:

  • High school or equivalent (Required)

Experience:

  • Experience with Children: 1 year (Preferred)
  • Childcare: 1 year (Preferred)

License/Certification:

  • First Aid Certification (Preferred)
  • CPR Certification (Preferred)
