About Indiana Family Health Council
The Indiana Family Health Council, Inc., (IFHC) is a private, non-profit corporation governed by statewide Board of Directors comprised of up to twenty-five members. IFHC receives funding from the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) and the Indiana
Department of Health (ISDH) for family planning services, which are provided through a system of Family Planning Resource Centers dedicated to helping Hoosier families maintain good reproductive health. IFHC coordinates and provides technical assistance to funded partners for service delivery. IFHC also receives funding to provide similar services in 9 counties in Eastern Illinois.
Position Summary
Reports to the Chief Financial Officer/Chief Operating Officer. The primary responsibilities of the position are to: implement IFHC programs; work with program and finance teams to coordinate program activities; conduct data processes; write grant reports for funders.
Duties and Responsibilities Include:
- Assist with developing and monitoring family planning work plan
- Ensure programs are operating on a timely basis
- Audit and report out data on monthly and quarterly basis
- Works with Communications and Outreach Coordinator to report data annually
- Monitor and coordinate technical assistance of Sub-Recipient’s programmatic administration of family planning projects.
- Directs site visits and program evaluations for agency programs.
- Prepares periodic progress reports for funding agencies
- Other Duties as Assigned
Job Requirements:
- MPH or other advanced degree with 3-5 years of experience
- Grant writing/reporting experience
- Evaluation implementation experience
- Program/grant management experience
- Knowledge of Performance Improvement or quality improvement; experience in implementation desired
- Reproductive or public health experience
Working Conditions
Incumbent will primarily work from an office setting. In state travel is a requirement. Out of state travel may occur 2-4 times per year.
