What are the responsibilities and job description for the Endpoint Engineer I position at Indiana Farm Bureau Insurance?
Primary Responsibilities:
- Implements, administers, and configures Windows OS, VDI, SCCM, Microsoft 365, Intune, and/or Printing.
- Identifies support patterns for all endpoint support tasks.
- Leverages automation to supplant tedious administration tasks.
- Provides tier three support across the enterprise for issues related to endpoint technology and applications.
- Ensures all client requests and operational problems are updated/resolved within a timely manner.
- Creates, reviews, and updates troubleshooting and knowledge base information for both end users and lower Tier support.
Requirements:
- Associate degree in a Technology related program or equivalent work experience.
- 1-3 years of Endpoint Support experience.
- A , Network , or other technical certification preferred and/or ability to obtain such certification at the request of management.
- Proven experience with Microsoft Windows, Microsoft Office, Microsoft Exchange/Outlook, client/server application support, a basic understanding of Microsoft Active Directory, LAN/WAN, and mainframe systems.
- Thorough knowledge of endpoint technology hardware and software.
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodology.
