IU Health has exciting nursing opportunities in our East Central Region Medical Telemetry Unit. Our magnet-designated hospital specializes in multi-specialty patients.
Medical Telemetry Unit: This 18 bed unit is committed to delivering the best, high quality, compassionate care to multi-specialty med-surg patients. In addition, we specialize with heart failure patients and cardiac diagnoses. We ensure to focus on a partnership approach to deliver excellent care to every patient. Our nurses possess attributes of clinical expertise, accept learning, spirit of inquiry, professionally engaged and cultivate new relationships. With our staffing ratios of 1:5 and our variety of patients, we are a great unit to build a strong nursing foundation and critical thinking while working with an excellent team of nursing staff.
Qualifications/Knowledge/Skills/Abilities
- Requires an Associate of Nursing (ASN); Bachelors of Nursing (BSN) preferred.
- Requires that the RN has graduated from a nationally accredited nursing program.
- Requires current state of Indiana license as a Registered Nurse.
- Requires Basic Life Support certification through the AHA.
- Other advanced life support certifications may be required per unit/department specialty according to patient care policies.
