Job Posting for Account Executive at Indianapolis Colts
The Account Executive is responsible for selling Indianapolis Colts season tickets and partial plans through face-to-face meetings and outbound phone calls. This is an opportunity to build loyal ticket sales partnerships growing the Colts ticket base and maximize revenue opportunities. A team player working in a competitive and dynamic culture where accountability and wins are celebrated. Must be able to work extended and/or irregular hours including nights, weekends and holidays as needed, attend home games and outside events to service clients and generate new leads. Responsible for reaching annual ticket sales revenue goals staying on pace to reach and exceed goals. Actively sell available seating inventory via outbound sales calls, appointments, presentations and stadium tours
Meet or exceed established yearly/monthly revenue and ticket goals set for new business
Prospect and cultivate new sales leads through creative lead generation methods, as well as follow up on leads provided by sales manager
Entertain and nurture relationships with clients and prospects through creative means including but not limited to: networking events, speaking engagements, one-on-one dinners / lunches, prospect sampling at games, seat visits at games and outside meetings
Enter all pertinent prospect and customer information in CRM platform for efficient reporting and historical data purposes
Perform other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor’s degree
Minimum of 2-3 years of successful sales experience in sports, media and/or direct sales is preferred
Experience and success in developing and building relationships with a creative consultative approach
Ability to communicate effectively and understand the importance of season ticket holders and fans
Candidate must have a strong work ethic and a desire to continue a career in professional sports with internal advancement opportunities
Proven ability to work in a team-oriented environment
Professional verbal and written communication skills
Candidate should possess excellent time management and organizational skills
Proficient in Microsoft Office, with a focus on Word, Excel and PowerPoint
Ability to work nights and weekends
Previous experience with Ticketmaster and Archtics preferred
Salesforce (CRM) knowledge preferred not required
