Art Directors provide vision for projects, encourage and critique along the way, manage client relationships like a pro, and see those projects through ‘til the end—all while proudly flying the purple(ish) and white flag of Indigo Slate.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Inspire innovation, question conventions, critique and hone everything, and create the best user experiences possible.
- Communicate clearly—a lot, with lots of people, all the time, both across a myriad of teams at Indigo Slate and with external stakeholders.
- Foster a risk-taking and sustainable culture where amazing is the norm.
- Mentor team members, manage project timelines and drive project teams across multiple projects at various stages of delivery, often with the delivery date looming.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATION AND EXPERIENCE:
- Knowledge across the spectrum, from the fundamentals (interaction design, user-centered experience design, brand development, digital marketing, and the creative process) to new platforms and technologies for the digital channel and related mediums.
- 7+ years in the design industry, with 2+ years in a creative leadership role a plus.
- Excellent verbal, interpersonal, and written communication skills.
- Time management skills that would make Doc Brown jealous.
- Acute attention to detail and habitual follow-up.
