Our Paint Department is known for being the best in the area. Paint Specialists work primarily in the Paint Department assisting residential and commercial customers with all things related to paint. The best applicants for this job have experience painting professionally and an eye for color matching and design trends. Paint Specialists assist customers in picking out colors and the right type of paint, mix and match stock or custom colors, and deal with all customer questions and concerns with their projects.
The Paint Specialist will also assist in the receiving, stocking, pricing of all merchandise and help maintain a clean and orderly merchandise presentation and overall store cleanliness.
It is required that you be able to use computers and basic computer programs.
Must list work experience on application or resume.
Education/Training
High School or GED equivalent.
Physical Demands
Standing, walking, lifting (up to 50lbs) and climbing
Experience
Retail experience preferred. Experience as a professional painter is preferred. Experience in color/home design preferred.
High School or GED equivalent
Cashier experience preferred.
Customer service experience preferred.
Ability and willingness to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays to meet the needs of the business. ABLE TO WORK WEEKENDS IS REQUIRED.
Standing, walking, bending for at least 7-8 hours per shift
Ability to lift at least 50 pounds
Ability to climb ladders
