What are the responsibilities and job description for the Senior Business Analyst position at Indochino?
INDOCHINO is in a great growth phase, we are opening showrooms, adding women’s apparel, expanding into new categories while improving our online presence. Our growing Technology team is looking for a Senior Business Analyst that will help create the best customer experience online and in our showrooms for our made to measure apparel. The ideal candidate will be an individual with a can-do attitude, a passion for innovation, team player and great communicator capable of improving our Agile and Scrum practices within our busy and talented tech team. The position is responsible for capturing requirements from our internal customers in all departments and will take the lead in translating business needs into user stories to create great user experiences.
What you'll be doing:
- Through user interviews with stakeholders, gather business requirements, document business processes and create the product vision
- Define the product roadmap by converting the product vision and objectives into comprehensive well written user stories
- Documentation of deliverables in epics and tasks
- Work together with business users, developers and Quality Assurance teams to document acceptance criteria and ensure the desired product is delivered
- Manage the “why” in Scrum and ensure we build the right thing
- Work with stakeholders and developers to ensure alignment on definition of “Done”
- Organize and prioritize the product backlog according to business value / ROI
- Communicate with stakeholders on roadmap
- Work together with the scrum master(s) to ensure the backlog is delivered on time and on budget with full scope of deliverables
- Influence development of new features and product development based on business competitive analysis, fashion and retail industry trends, customer feedback, overall business objectives and key results
- Minimum of 5 years in a similar position as Product Owner / Business Analyst in an Ecommerce / Agile environment
- Certified Scrum Product Owner
- Solid understanding of project management principles
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related discipline
- Advanced written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to adapt his/her language for multiple audiences and stakeholders
- Expert knowledge of JIRA, including managing sprints, backlogs and advanced reporting
- High attention to detail
