St. Paul Public Schools is hiring Nutrition Service Assistance for the 2023-2024 school year. This is the perfect PART-TIME (20-35 hours per week) position for someone who enjoys making a difference in the lives of children, and has a strong desire to serve in a customer service position.

This position is Monday-Friday first shift hours.

This is a contract-to-hire opportunity with great benefits after being hired on by the Saint Paul Public Schools.

Weekly pay $17.00/hr

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Prepping, cooking, and serving food
  • Dishwashing
  • Set up and clean up of all kitchen areas
  • Must be able to take direction from other team members as assigned
  • Follow all health and safety guidelines

Requirements

  • Reliable transportation to travel to different schools in St. Paul (schools are bus line accessible)
  • Ability to pass a criminal background check
  • Available Monday - Friday between 7:00am to 3:00pm
  • Food handling experience preferred
  • A friendly and helpful demeanor with staff and students

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to frequently lift up to 25 pounds and occasionally up to 50 pounds
  • Ability frequently push and/ or pull up to 75 pounds
  • Ability to continuously stand
