JOB SUMMARY:
Designs, develops, implements, and manages InductEV’s information technology infrastructure including software application systems, computer and communication systems, network security and related systems. Establishes and maintains information technology policies, procedures, and standards.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Manages all aspects of hardware and software infrastructure, inventory, and procurement, including audits to ensure hardware and software comply with standards, policies, and configuration guidelines
- Hardware and software maintenance
- Evaluation and purchase of new hardware and software including negotiation with vendors for software licenses.
- Up to date on Firewall, Network Security Software, Infrastructure, Phone, Internet, and Admin for all software
- Monitors information technology infrastructure and related system operations and assesses potential risks.
- Develops analytical and reporting tools, feasibility studies, and recommendations for enhancements to the information technology infrastructure and its supporting hardware and software.
- Implements recovery and backup procedures.
- Evaluates training requirements for current and new IT solutions, develops appropriate training materials, and provides staff training.
- Researches and evaluates new technology, techniques, threats, and industry best practices to optimize efficiency and usability and minimize vulnerabilities.
- May assist staff with diagnosing and solving computer equipment problems.
- Serve as project manager for software implementations & deployments
- Assists with new hire computer deployments, tracks costs & makes recommendations to upper management
- Reports project details and progress to the appropriate manager on a regular basis
- Responsible for internal phone system and managing vendor relationship and interaction for new hires, terminations, and changes to system.
- Responsible for internet and networking infrastructure for new and existing buildings, requests for new and re-work, and sits on the disaster recovery / avoidance board.
- Responsible for videoconferencing requirements internally and interfacing with external clients, acting as a PM and point of contact for.
- Organizes and keeps documentation and audit records of security audits, makes recommendations and coordinates with the Intellectual Property and internal management team.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer science
- 3-5 years of IT Support and Security Experience
- At least 2 years of information technology implementation and deployments
- Network systems experience
- Implementation of ERP and related systems
