Indulge Distribution is a statewide cannabis wholesale distribution company based in Portland. In addition to our house brands, we work with several of the leading processors and gardens in Oregon to provide the community with top quality products. Kitchen team members are responsible for preparing products for distribution to retail dispensary locations. Team members will be trained in safe food handling techniques and the art of processing chocolate. Basic food preparation skills such as being comfortable measuring and weighing ingredients and using kitchen equipment are a must. Due to an ever expanding product line, the ideal employee must be adaptable and willing to learn how to process new product types. The majority of the time will be spent labeling, packaging, cleaning/sanitizing, and preparing products for distribution and retail sale. We are looking for someone adaptable, focused, and who displays honesty and integrity in all aspects of the job.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Comply with all OLCC rules and regulations
• Assist the kitchen manager with food preparation and ability to learn various edible production processes
• Process products in a timely and organized fashion
• Product quality and compliance control
• Ensure each product is packaged and labeled accurately
• Basic kitchen maintenance such as sweeping, mopping, cleaning oven, etc. Deep cleaning kitchen weekly.
• Occasionally travel to our SE warehouse to assist packaging
• Assist in inventory and storing food, supplies, etc., and ensure food storage areas are clean and properly arranged. Move and lift stock and equipment as necessary.
• Other duties as assigned

Requirements

• Possession OLCC Marijuana Worker Permit
• Reliable transportation
• Oregon Food Handlers Card
• Fine attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to follow instructions
• Ability to lift objects up to 40 pounds and use motor skills to label and manipulate cannabis products
• Ability adhere to OLCC rules
• Good hygiene and the ability to adhere to OSHA food safety rules

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: From $16.00 per hour

Expected hours: 16 – 22 per week
