Job Description
Job Summary :
Responsible for controlling, supervising, monitoring, and directing the services of patient meals, cafeteria / official catering / functions, food production, ordering & control of food supplies / inventory management, food consumption, volumes & sale data analysis at Indus Hospital food service operation as per the laid down systems and procedures related to assigned areas.
Maintain effective communication & working relationships with other departments. Ability to manage & control cost and budget targets, monitor and comply with hospital-based food safety & hygiene standards, and be aware of quality management application tools.
Responsible for the development and implementation of food service policies and procedures related to assigned areas.
Academic Qualification :
MA / MSc (Food Science & Technology) with 4-5 years of related work experience including 7-8 years of management experience at Hospital Food Services / Institutional Catering / Airlines preferred.
MBA in Marketing or Management systems with a Diploma in Hotel and Catering from abroad OR Diploma in Food and Beverage along with professional trade certificate courses from a recognized institution abroad with 6-8 years of related work experience at Hospital Food Services / Institutional Catering / Airlines preferred.
