Job Summary:
We are seeking a Steel Shop Manager to oversee our daily operations and lead our team in delivering exceptional service. The ideal candidate will have experience in the steel industry, possess strong leadership skills, and excel in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
- Manage day-to-day operations of the shop, including staff supervision, customer service, and inventory management
- Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction by providing quality products and service
- Train, schedule, and motivate team members to maintain a positive work environment
- Monitor financial performance by managing cash handling procedures and controlling costs
- Collaborate with vendors to maintain stock levels and quality standards
- Implement and enforce health and safety regulations to provide a safe working environment
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in the steel industry
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to supervise and motivate a team
- Experience in cash handling, inventory management, and customer service
- Excellent communication skills for interacting with customers, staff, and vendors
- Ability to conduct interviews and make hiring decisions to build a successful team
Preferred Skills:
- Team management experience
- Supervisory skills in a similar role

Pay: $54,479.72 - $85,000.00 per year
