Description
As one of our Warehouse Associates, your job will be to perform the daily process and tasks required to receive, store, inventory and distribute material, and any other activities or assignments needed in order to help production and inventory run smoothly.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Be proactive in the use, maintenance and urging of others to use PPE.
- Move materials and items from receiving or production areas to storage or to other designated areas by hand or forklift.
- Sort or place materials/ items in designated storage areas.
- Mark material with proper identifying information.
- Record material amounts or items received/distributed.
- Maintain internal 5S organizational and housekeeping standards to keep areas neat and presentable at all times.
- Participate in inventory or cycle count activities.
- Assist in training and development of new employees.
- Perform inspection and calibration checks of equipment as required.
- Operate a forklift safely
- May prep tanks, stands, and containments for off-site placement.
- Understand weight and measures.
- May load/unload trucks and tankers
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Forklift experience a plus
- Warehouse/ plant experience a plus
- Verbal and written skills necessary to read and follow instructions.
- Meet dress code of a neat, clean, and professional appearance
- Punctual and diligent in adhering to work schedules
