Pipe Supervisor/Project Manager

ISI is seeking a skilled, hands-on Pipe & Stainless Fabrication Supervisor for ISI's fabrication shop located just north of York, PA. We need an organized leader who is also a talented fitter/welder capable of working with many different processes and materials.

As a Pipe & Stainless Fabrication Supervisor, you’ll:

• Ensure a safe working environment for ISI employees and customers;
• Interact with management, employees and customers in a professional and positive manner;
• In consultation with ISI’s Pipe Superintendent, plan and track production schedules and job-related activities;
• Direct a group of fabricators, fitter/welders, and other crew members;
• Review, train and develop ISI employees;
• Ensure that all products meet quality requirements;
• Accurately read and interpret blueprints and other documents;
• Be self-sufficient and involved with customers visiting our facility to review their fabrication progress, delivery schedules, deadlines, etc.;
• Coordinate and attend Microsoft Teams meetings regularly regarding customer fabrication updates, progress, delivery schedules, deadlines, etc.;
• Determine parts, supplies, tools, and equipment needs, place orders for them, then receive and organize them in advance of production needs;
• Ensure correct weld techniques and procedures are used;
• Fabricate, fit and weld proficiently;
• Act as a problem-solver;
• Accept and act on short notice changes with a positive attitude;
• Research and compile information and provide reports as needed;
• Ensure all paperwork and timesheets are complete, accurate and submitted on a timely basis;
• Maintain an orderly, clean and safe shop; and
• Ensure the security of all ISI property and tools.

This position pays $33-34/hour OR MORE, depending on experience, qualifications, and skills. (Note that this pay level is only for those who are fully qualified based on ISI standards. Candidates qualified for other positions will be considered, but the pay rates will be different.)

REQUIREMENTS

To be considered for this position, you must:

• 
  Have 3 - 5 years of supervisory experience, plus more than 5 years of fabricating, fitting and welding experience;
• Be highly proficient at reading and working from blueprints;
• Possess excellent planning and coordination skills;
• Have strong leadership and communication skills (these are essential);
• Have good attention to detail;
• Provide your own hand tools (the tools of the trade);
• Have a current valid driver's license with a safe driving history;
• Pass a drug screen and background check.
• Proficient with ERP systems
• AutoCAD experience is a plus
