What are the responsibilities and job description for the Warehouse Receiver position at Industrial Service Corp?
The candidate to fill the Warehouse Receiving position needs to have experience checking in freight, the ability to pay attention to detail. Candidate will also need be able to recognize and become familiar with parts and part numbers.
Job Description:
Will be out on the floor checking in and seeking for parts, receiving data into computer, and tagging parts:
- Receive incoming shipments
- Check received shipments against shipping manifests
- Fill out all required paperwork
- Sign off on received shipments
- Operate a forklift
- Unload received shipments
- Use a forklift to take received shipments to their designated warehouse location
- Unpack shipments and place received items in stock
- Administer the inventory database
- Enter received shipments in the database
- Troubleshoot issues as they arise, talking to planners/vendors to correct problems and tracking all of the progress for items
- Escalate complex issues as necessary
- Maintain a clean and safe work area
- Uphold compliance and quality standards
- Perform other duties as assigned
