Inferno Videographers have travel, lodging, per diem, and equipment provided to them by Inferno and will travel the United States to take action pictures of every routine that performs at an Inferno competition. Inferno competitions run multiple events every weekend, with the exception of Easter weekend, between February and May. Competition usually begins on Friday and runs through Sunday.
Videographers will be trained in their position and be expected to setup and strike their stations at the start and end of competition. They will be compensated hourly based on the length of the competition, including setup and strike time. Inferno is a fun, engaging, energetic environment but candidates should be aware that competition days can run long hours.
Inferno videographers are expected to have videography experience and be able to stay focused on producing high quality videos throughout every single routine of competition while stationary. Videographers will be using a single PTZ camera and a joystick to adjust their frame throughout a performance to smoothly follow the action on stage.
Requirements:
-- Work samples of past video work
-- Ability to adjust with real-time feedback from supervisors
-- Ability to remain highly focused on long days
-- Demonstrable knowledge of digital photography;
- Establishing proper exposure in a low light environment
- Adjusting shutter speed to limit action blur
- Manual color balancing
-- Commitment of at least 3 weekends in the season (between February and May).
-- The ability to travel to events Friday mornings and return Monday mornings, if necessary
-- Able to fly out of a MAJOR U.S. airport (not regional).
-- Comfort traveling via bus, plane, car or train.
-- The ability to keep energy up while working 14-16 hour days with limited breaks.

Pay: $360.00 - $840.00 per week
