Job Title: Med Surg RN
Assignment Length: 13 weeks with possible extension
Location: Jackson, MI
Shift: Day Shift (7AM-7PM) and Night Shift (7PM-7AM); EOW/EOH required
Floating: Candidate may be asked to float, location is acuity adaptable. May be asked to float to lockdown unit.
Local Pay Rate: $53/hour
Travel Gross weekly: $1,918 of which $1,162 is non-taxed!!

Job Description -
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Provides leadership in the coordination and delivery of quality compassionate patient care.
- Utilizes the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation, to provide, delegate, supervise and document care and teaching of patients and family.
- Effectively communicates pertinent patient/family information to health care team.
- Participates in finding solutions for variances from patient goals and ensures implementation of solutions.
- Perform other job duties as needed or assigned by the client.
Skills:
- Clinical knowledge and analytical abilities necessary to formulate effective nursing care plans within the unit/department to which staff is assigned.
- Ability to perform a wide variety of professional nursing services.
- Ability to effectively communicate with patients, families, and hospital personnel.
Experience:
- 2 years of General Med Surg unit experience required.
- At least one year of experience working on a surgical floor highly preferred.
Job Requirements:
- Graduation from an accredited school of nursing. BSN preferred.
- Active Michigan RN License
- Current BLS/CPR Certification (preferably from AHA)
- Fully Vaccinated against Covid-19
