Position Summary:
This role serves as the primary interface with Infineum’s I&I customers covering a broad range of activities including:
  • Customer Relationship Management (CRM)
  • Profit management
  • Product deployment
  • Technical support
The I&I Business structure and roles offer great opportunities for colleagues wishing to work autonomously and have a direct/meaningful impact on Infineum’s business performance. The successful candidate will bring extensive customer interface experience and will be exposed to all aspects of Infineum’s I&I business.

Key Outputs: What we can expect from you
  • Identify and develop new growth opportunities into impactful sales results.
  • Deepen current and develop new customer relationships, ensuring that customers receive appropriate commercial, technical and supply support.
  • Leverage external network to pursue business opportunities.
  • Champion Infineum’s technical leadership by translating our application knowledge and related products into meaningful value propositions for individual customers.
  • Work effectively across all functions to help ensure reliable supply to customers through product commercialisations, changes and quality issues.
  • Develop and implement customer pricing strategies, taking into consideration the competitive situation, customer needs and Infineum’s profit expectations.
  • Any additional responsibilities as assigned

What skills will you gain or enhance through this role?
  • Ability to build customer relationships at multiple levels and facilitate high level customer relationships.
  • Technical knowledge of class leading Infineum products, industry operations, refinery operations and petroleum logistics.
  • Commercial knowledge including negotiation skills and the ability to develop meaningful customer value propositions.
  • Ability to convert customer needs into technical work plans and/or product deployments and then steward through to final delivery.
  • Problem solving at the customer interface to ensure ongoing value creation/protection for the customer and Infineum.
  • Communication skills to ensure customer needs are factored into business and product strategies.

A successful candidate is likely to have:
  • Extensive operational experience and relationships in one or more of the below and related industries;
    • Explosives for mining
    • Refinery, midstream, and upstream crude oil addidtive treatment
    • Fuel additives
  • Strong interpersonal, networking and communication skills with an ability to develop personal relationships with customers and internal colleagues.
  • Prior experience that demonstrates strong ethics, effective time management, problem resolution, adaptability, organizational skills, and ability to navigate complex situations and ambiguity.
  • Sales background with the ability to assimilate technical information and apply at the customer interface.
  • Able to be effective both on cross-functional teams and working autonomously.
  • Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills.
  • Strong commitment to Infineum safety and quality values.
