Northbrook Center for Rehabilitation & Health is now hiring vivacious, energized, engaged, resident-focused, for our Activities Aide position who is committed to providing the best life and care for our residents. The primary purpose of the Activities Aide position is to assist in the planning, implementation, and evaluation of recreational, social, intellectual, emotional and spiritual programs, in accordance with the resident’s assessment and care plan, and as may be directed by your supervisors. If you are an Activities Aide who is looking forward to becoming a part of a dynamic team, we would love to meet you!

ACTIVITIES AIDE REQUIREMENTS:

  • Experience in Long Term Care Activities Department is Preferred (2 Years)
  • Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language.
  • Must have patience, tact, cheerful disposition & enthusiasm, as well as be willing to handle residents based on whatever maturity level at which they are currently functioning
