Description

Responsible for the stocking and receiving of raw material, hardware, equipment, production supplies and services necessary for the efficient operation of the Repair Station. Assure the parts and materials required to perform maintenance and repairs are available and issued to each assigned product line. Inventory levels should be monitored, and/or purchased as needed to replenish the supply. Materials required for maintaining work orders should be made available in a timely manner at the lowest achievable cost. Maintain documentation of all activity and be able to create and present reports to upper management as necessary.
RAA
- Prepares material kits from bills of material and/or material pick lists and issues to production
- Manage and organize material stores to ensure levels are maintained
- Conduct inventory analysis and initiate allocation of available stock
- Monitor shipments to ensure that materials come in on time
- Stock incoming material in the designated places in stores and shop areas
- Verifies receipt of items by comparing items received to items ordered; resolves shipments in error with suppliers
- Identify new suppliers, review prices and terms for materials and services
- Identify suppliers for price, quality, timeliness, and best value
- Tracks purchases, monitors vendor quality, and maintains a current database of vendor information
- Plans, schedules, and tracks purchase orders to ensure quality products are delivered on-time
- May be required to prepare purchase orders for materials
- May also be required to open and close Work Orders, along with other administrative tasks
- Proficient in MS Office suite and Adobe Acrobat
- Excellent Verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to develop and process analytic information
- Ability to work under pressure in a team environment
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience)
- Education and experience; Highschool diploma and/or 5 years experience in material stores
- Strong communication skills and ability to prioritize, work under stress & drive change
- Ability to prioritize, work proficiently under time constraints, process information quickly and make sound business decisions
- Solid understanding of material stores principles, including planning, transportation, shipping cost and techniques that may impact purchasing
- Excellent interpersonal and ability to work in cooperation with diverse teams
Salary : $19 - $23
