Market Data Supplier Manager
$130-160k bonus
Hybrid Role 2-3 days/week in Manhattan

The Market Data Supplier Manager, Americas role is responsible for the commercial management and license compliance of Market Data services used in the region.

Job duties:
  • Management of Market Data service contract renewals and new requirements.
  • Regular interaction with suppliers to ensure high quality services and cost efficiency are maintained.
  • Engagement with users of Market Data across the firm to ensure their requirements are met in a cost-effective way.
  • Participation in Vendor and Exchange Audits.
  • Understanding of Market Data feeds/systems used within region.
  • Ensuring that the company is compliant with all Market Data contracts.
  • Ensuring that all Market Data Usage is appropriately licensed.
  • Vendor liaison regarding products and projects.
  • Project Management as required by the Business.
  • Communication of Market Data-related announcements to Senior Business Management.
  • Completion of any mandatory training by the required deadlines.
  • Acting with integrity and due skill, care and diligence in carrying out your duties.
Skills And Experience Required
  • Extensive relevant Market Data Management experience.
  • Understanding of business applications (e.g. DACS) and the utilization of market data therein.
  • Experience of managing exchanges, policies and compliance.
  • Experience of defending Vendor or Exchange Audits.
  • Understanding of Bloomberg, Refinitiv and direct exchange infrastructures.
  • Knowledge of MDM or similar inventory tool.
  • Extensive technology/business-focused experience.
  • Extensive experience working with front office users (preferably on the trading floor).
