Data Architect

Description

As a Data Architect, you will lead technical problem-solving efforts to provide efficient, secure, and scalable analytics solutions.  

• Work collaboratively with internal team members and clients to understand their business challenges, define requirements, and present options and technical recommendations.
• Partner with other analytics team members and our technical partners to understand and optimize existing technical infrastructure.
• Assist with design efforts and recommendations for future state technical environment, infrastructure, and tools.
• Establish procedures for data sharing with internal and external stakeholders, as well as ensure the data strategy supports and aligns with the organization's needs in operational efficiency and scalability.
• Develop data strategy and governance practices to ensure data accuracy and security, including compliance where required.

Requirements

• Experience  working with businesses and/or clients to develop a list of requirements, goals, and outcomes
• Experience  working with technical teams to plan out the options and recommended solutions 
• Experience in simplifying and communicating complex technical information to businesses and/or clients
• Experience with Tableau dashboard development, support, Tableau server, and cloud
• Data  Science language -R/Python preferred
• Data Integration – experience developing and supporting efficient data pipelines
• Automation - experience using automation tools to develop more efficient business and technical data processes 
• Cloud data infrastructure – experience working in a mature cloud data environment (AWS, GCP, Azure).  This includes setting up databases, data lakes, dev-test-production environments, data pipelines,  data warehouses, and master data management.  
• Experience with SQL
• Prior experience or working knowledge with marketing-specific integration platforms such as ChannelMix or Adverity is a plus
• Familiarity with other business intelligence tools, notably Power BI and the Power Platform preferred
