Solar Consultant

Job Overview:
We are seeking a motivated and experienced Solar Consultant to join our team. As a Solar Consultant, you will be responsible for promoting and selling solar energy systems to residential and commercial customers. Your primary goal will be to educate potential customers about the benefits of solar energy and help them make informed decisions about their energy needs.

Duties:
- Conduct consultations with potential customers to assess their energy needs and determine the feasibility of solar energy systems
- Educate customers on the benefits of solar energy and the financial incentives available
- Provide accurate and detailed information about solar products, including system specifications, pricing, and financing options
- Prepare and present customized proposals to potential customers, outlining the estimated costs, savings, and return on investment
- Collaborate with installation teams to ensure smooth project implementation
- Maintain a strong pipeline of leads and follow up with potential customers in a timely manner
- Negotiate contracts and close sales deals
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, regulations, and incentives

Requirements:
- Proven experience in sales or outside sales, preferably in the solar industry
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to effectively present complex information in a clear and concise manner
- Self-motivated with a strong drive for results
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
