Experience and Expertise: They are looking for someone with at least 10 years of experience in various aspects of Data Management including Data / Big Data, Business Intelligence, Data Quality, Data Modeling, Data Governance, etc. This person should have proven experience in leading complex enterprise data architecture efforts and strategizing end-to-end Data Warehouses.
Cloud and Technology Skills: The candidate should have experience with cloud platforms like Azure and technologies such as Azure Synapse Analytics, Snowflake, and Power BI. Familiarity with Microsoft technologies like Azure Data Lake, ADF, Cosmos DB, etc., is also preferred.
Data Modeling and Architecture: Strong experience in data modeling concepts like Data Vault & Dimensional Modeling, CDC, and schemaless architecture is required. The candidate should be able to design and implement data models and architectures that align with business needs.
Leadership and Collaboration: The ideal candidate should have experience in driving data architecture initiatives across IT and business organizations. They should possess strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with stakeholders at all levels.
Agile Environment Skills: Experience in driving data architecture in an agile environment using tools like Azure DevOps, ServiceNow SPM, or Jira is necessary. The ability to adapt to evolving requirements and handle ambiguity is crucial.
Education and Certification: A bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, or related field is required. Having certifications such as Azure Data Engineer Associate, AWS Certified Big Data, or TOGAF 9 is preferred.
Industry Knowledge: While not mandatory, knowledge of the Property Management industry or CRE Tech is considered a plus.
