**Open to candidates based out of Chicago or NYC Metro area**
Legal Counsel works closely with Senior Counsel and Heads of Department on all key initiatives in the dedicated area of work. They give accurate and timely counsel to management, internal and external stakeholders, and Senior Counsel in a variety of legal topics covered under the assigned area.
You will need to bring about swift resolutions of contractual matters, engage at a senior level with customers and cross-functionally with leaders throughout Infobip.
Key responsibilities:
- Report to Seattle-based Senior Counsel of Infobip and partner with the legal team to oversee contract management, company policies, document retention systems, and a wide range of procedures for Infobip Legal.
- Responsible for management of complex tasks that fall under the assigned Department.
- Manage Customer Services Agreements, Professional Services Agreements, Statements of Work, Marketing Agreements, and Nondisclosure Agreements with customers, vendors, and third parties.
- Identify legal risks and provide legal advice and Counsel on a variety of labor and employment matters including issues related to the ADA, FMLA, state and federal wage and hour laws, state and federal employment discrimination statutes, FLSA, equal pay, diversity, drug-free workplace, employee discipline and termination, whistleblower complaints, and wrongful discharge claims.
- Handle EEOC charges, position statements, and other state-equivalent charges, Department of Labor inquiries, FLSA reviews, and other regulatory audits.
- Draft employment agreements and employment related policies and assist with other labor and employment law matters.
- Review new and existing statutes and regulations that may affect Infobip; Advise on the impact of new or existing legislation.
- Participate in the creation and delivery of trainings related to employment law, including harassment training and other related manager trainings.
- Assists in implementation of Department strategy for alignment with trends and regulation changes.
- Represents the interests of the company in negotiations with partners.
- Contribute to matters falling outside the assigned area, and work in collaboration with different Infobip teams.

- Successful assistance to Senor Counsel in implementation of improvements regarding internal processes and flows.
- Communicate and act in a professional manner when working and dealing with internal and external stakeholders.
- Excellent and swift record of solving highly complex tasks within assigned Department under deadlines.
- Successful execution of Department's strategy and initiatives.
- Exposure and contribution to global operations and cross-departmental projects and workflows.
- Stay up to date on state and federal employment laws and regulations to ensure compliance
- Licensed attorney in the US with 5 years of legal experience (preferably at least 2 years experience at a leading law firm).
- Experience or understanding with IT/Telco industry working with SaaS, CPaas or PaaS is a plus
- Experience with state and federal employment law and advising and counseling clients on such laws.
