Job Description

This position proactively assists internal and external clients both in the office and onsite at primarily CPHI North America, but not exclusively. Assistance includes effective communication, review of registration system, exhibitor service kit, exhibitor training programs, management of Salesforce, assisting in data quality, accuracy and consistency of reporting for the business unit.  Also responsible for influencing new programs and implementing better communication methods for customers and sales team.

Accountabilities

  • Responding to all customer communications within 24 business hours of receipt.
  • Manage and update Salesforce (CRM) and associated Sales order processing tools with sales contracts.
  • Providing review of forms (text) for: sales, stand upsells, promo opportunities, catalogue, stand sharing forms for the online customer tools and contract creation.
  • Review event website to ensure accuracy and usability for external and internal customers, informing Marketing of changes
  • Diagnose and prescribe solutions to resolve customer concerns in a timely manner.
  • Assist internal teams and vendors in researching, identifying, and implementing new ideas and processes to assist and support customers.
  • Keep track of exhibitor schedules through verbal, electronic, or hard copy communications.
  • Work with operations teams to create customer pricing kits and establish pricing for customers.
  • Serve as Subject Matter Experts (SME) on Salesforce business process for sales teams regarding contract validation, invoicing matters, floorplan amendments, etc.
  • Supports the product set up (events, sponsorship, digital and print).
  • Assist with administrative activities in support of forecasting, preparing presentations for budget and strategy meetings.
  • Travel as requested to conferences, tradeshows, vendors, clients, etc. Travel is estimated at 20% annually, including international.
  • Primary point of on-site contact for the sales office, up to and including managing processes and helping with rebook.
  • Other duties, incidental or regular, assigned at management’s discretion.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 2 years of customer service experience, event coordination, or project management with exhibitors required
  • Intermediate computer skills required
    • Experience in working with Microsoft tools
    • Experience working with Salesforce
    • Experience with data analysis
    • Intermediate knowledge of Excel
    • Experience working in Smartsheet desired
  • Excellent oral and written communication required
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage time effectively 
  • Previous experience in B2B events industry desired

The pay range for this position is $51,000 - $65,000, depending on experience.
