What are the responsibilities and job description for the Technical Designer position at Information Delivery Systems Inc.?

Key Duties

  • Develop and maintain basic engineering product definition.
  • Prepare basic design layouts.
  • Modify existing designs.
  • Assist in the coordination and development of work transfer packages.
  • Verify the accuracy of engineering data.
  • Investigate and resolve routine manufacturing processes or engineering-related issues.
  • Provide real-time operational support and technical expertise in the testing and troubleshooting of a variety of mechanical and hydraulic products.
  • Design, acquire, coordinate, set-up, provide training.
  • Produce test procedures needed to successfully overhaul and repairs mechanical and hydraulic components.
  • Prepare technical documents for mechanical components and systems.
  • Work with sub-vendors for supplier inquiry requests and non-conformances.

Required Skills, Experience, and Education

  • Due to facility requirements, only U.S. Citizens are eligible for consideration at this time.
  • Cimarron employees are required to follow federal, state, and local laws regarding COVID-19 practices, as well as customer requirements.
  • Ability to obtain Secret Clearance.
  • 2 or more years of experience working on F-15 or F/A-18 support equipment projects.
  • Experience in or willingness to learn computer aided design/computer aided manufacturing (CAD/CAM), computer aided three dimensional interactive (CATIA), Mentor Graphics, Unigraphics), etc.
  • Associate degree or higher in Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent work experience.

Desired Skills, Experience, and Education

  • Experience in computer aided design/computer aided manufacturing (CAD/CAM)
  • Experience in computer aided three dimensional interactive (CATIA)
  • Experience with Mentor Graphics.
  • Experience with Unigraphics.

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $35.00 - $50.00 per hour
