Position Summary:
The position of System Administrator will be mainly responsible for set-up, support and maintenance of the IR user computer systems and software. This position will also be responsible for user support issues related to computer system access, user setups and day to day system operations. This position will ensure the smooth operation of all IR computer systems to ensure maximum performance and availability for internal and external users.
Position Responsibilities:
- Responsible for maintaining all computer system hardware’s including physical phones, printers
- Responsible for installing, supporting and troubleshooting Windows Operating System
- Responsible for building and configuring new virtual systems for Remote Users
- Responsible for user setups and troubleshooting any access issues related to Active Directory
- Analyses and resolves faults, ranging from a major system crash to a forgotten password
- Responsible for creating and maintaining a PCI compliant environment
- Ensures proper security policies have been applied to all computer systems and patches are kept current
- Monitors and manages email, anti-spam and virus protection
- Works closely with other departments and collaborates with other IT staff
- Performs other related duties as assigned
Qualifications
Essential Skills:
- Strong Experience on Microsoft Windows Server 2012/2016/2019, and Active Directory, GPOs, WSUS, DNS, DHCP, SSL, File and Printer sharing
- Experience with Office 365, Exchange 2016 and Exchange Online, OneDrive, SharePoint
- Working knowledge of datacenter hardware configuration (NAS, SAN, DAS, RAID, etc.)
- Working knowledge of Cisco systems, ASA, Cisco AnConnect VPN, Firepower, Jabber, CUCM, CUCCX, Cisco Finesses, Cisco IOS, and configuration both through ASDM and CLI
- Preferred knowledge on virtual infrastructure, VMWare 5.x, 6.x, vCenter, including vMotion, HA, Site Recovery Manager
- Preferred knowledge on with BackupExec, Veeam backup systems
- General understanding of networking concepts (TCP/IP, subnetting, routing, port forwarding, traffic analysis, etc.)
Education and Experience:
- High school degree or equivalent
- Three plus years with systems administration, PC Support
- Strong troubleshooting and problem solving skills
- Ability to collaborate with team members, interact well with front line and management staff
- Ability to identify root cause for issues and resolve them successfully
- Good oral and written communication skills

- Prolonged periods sitting at a desk or standing and working on a computer
- Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds at times
