Registered Nurse-L&D

• Position- Registered Nurse

• Shift Notes: Rotating weekends and holidays - 36hpw;
• Duration- 13 weeks with possible extension

Pay package for travelers (Above 50 miles from the facility)

• $40/hr (Taxable) $1260 weekly stipend (Non-Taxable)
• Total weekly gross $2700/36hrs.

Client's Requirement-

• Nurse RN must have at least 2 Years of Experience in Labor & delivery in Last 3 Years- REQUIRED
• Nurses must be willingness to Float to Units Appropriate for Skillset- REQUIRED
• Current Massachusetts RN license Labor and Delivery experience required Mother/Baby experience - REQUIRED
• AHA BLS, AHA ACLS, NRP, FHM certification – REQUIRED
• Covid-19 and flu vaccinated -Medical & Religious exemption accepted

Unit Notes:

• The Birthplace is a 12-bed, private room, labor, delivery, recovery and postpartum unit that includes a nursery staffed by obstetricians, certified nurse midwives, pediatricians, neonatologists and registered nurses.
• The Unit also has a 2 bed triage and 6 bed postpartum area.
• Registered nurses are required to demonstrate competent care of the patient in labor, delivery, postpartum and newborn advanced fetal monitoring, breastfeeding education, neonatal resuscitation certification, advanced life support certification, and the OR scrub and circulating roles.

Recommended Requirements:

• OR Circulating & Scrub experience preferred Experience working in continuing care/special care nursery/NICU environment preferred
• NO local travelers will be accepted (cannot reside within 50 mi from the facility)

Position Description: Contract Guarantee hours= 72 Hours Biweekly on all Assignments – these guaranteed hours do not include any “on-call” time worked
