Description:
We are seeking a Registered Nurse with expertise in MS/Tele nursing to join our team at 3C Neuroscience and Stroke unit. The ideal candidate will hold current certifications in AHA ACLS, AHA BLS, and NIH Stroke Scale, with proficiency in medical and arrhythmia examinations. Flexibility is essential as the role may require floating to similar units based on census and volume.

Requirements:

• Active SC license or multistate license
• Start date: 3 weeks after contract signed date
• Shift: 3 x 12 hr or 4x12 hr Nights
• Locals accepted: Must be 100 miles from any Prisma Health facility for days or 50 miles from the facility
• Pending License accepted: No
• RTO Restrictions: ALL RTO must be included at the time of submission. Approval will be based on the facility's needs.
• Guaranteed Hours: Facility allowed to call off 1 shift per 2 weeks
• Experience: 1 year
• Charting: EPIC

Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in a medical/surgical/telemetry setting, utilizing skills such as catheterization, IV insertion, and patient assessment.
- Administer basic life support and respond to emergency situations effectively.
- Document patient information accurately using EMR and EHR systems.
- Monitor and assess patient conditions, including vital signs and physiological parameters.
- Assist with tube feeding and other patient care activities as needed.
- Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Stay updated on best practices in nursing and implement them in daily tasks.
- Maintain a safe and clean environment for patients and adhere to infection control protocols.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and other healthcare professionals.
- Participate in ongoing training and education to enhance nursing skills and knowledge.

Pay: $2,071.45 - $3,022.00 per week
