Member of the Finance team that will maintain the Fixed Asset records, assist with monthly reconciliations and closing process and provide timely and accurate financial reports. Essential Job Functions:
Prepare basic general ledger account reconciliations and adjusting journal entries.
Enter Fixed Asset transactions (purchases, disposals and transfers) into the Fixed Asset module of Costpoint.
Analyze Computer Inventory records to determine Fixed Asset transactions to record.
Prepare and publish monthly reports in accordance with a reporting checklist and schedule.
Prepare Accounting Correction forms based on analysis of more senior GL Accountants
Track Accounting Corrections submitted to ensure timely processing.
Monthly Indirect Expense Analysis
Assist in preparing Property & Business Tax Returns
Prepare Subcontractor Accruals.
Required Skills:
Due to the sensitivity of customer related requirements, U.S. Citizenship is required.
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field plus a minimum of 2 years of experience, preferably with a Government Contractor.
Strong PC skills including proficiency in Excel.
Working knowledge of Costpoint including GL module.
Knowledge of Fixed Asset module a plus.
Strong work ethic and team player.
High degree of professionalism.

Organizational, multi-tasking, and prioritizing skills.
