InfoSend, Inc. has provided business process outsourcing services for over 25 years, processing and distributing over 240 million print and electronic documents annually for industries throughout the United States. Our platform distributes critical documents across multiple channels for Data Processing, Printing and Mailing, and our hosted Electronic Billing, Presentment and Payment applications.

The Training & Development Specialist will play an important role at InfoSend, advancing the knowledge and skills of approximately 200 team members. This position is responsible for the overall coordination, development, design and delivery of training programs and workshops, with a goal of increasing the overall productivity of our teams. At the direction of our Human Resources Manager, and in collaboration with department leaders, the role will lead the creation and delivery of behavior-based and technical training to enhance the ability of our team members to perform the work they do.


Training programs this role is responsible for designing and delivering, or assisting with designing and delivering, will typically include topics such as onboarding of new hires, supervisory/management training, work skills/soft skills training, team building, communication, and conflict resolution skills. Will also work closely with various department leaders to fulfill and support their subject-matter-specific training needs. Additionally, this role must champion InfoSend’s culture and core values and help to deliver optimal experiences for employees and clients alike.


This individual needs to be an organized leader that can remain focused and achieve results in a hands-on, rapidly growing environment. They must possess effective emotional intelligence skills to communicate with a wide variety of departments and team members.


CORE DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • In collaboration with Executive Management, Human Resources, and department leaders, define internal processes to create and deliver training to InfoSend employees
  • Conduct and coordinate onboarding for new team members to ensure that all are trained and motivated to perform their jobs as quickly as possible fully
  • Coordinate safety trainings as needed
  • Proactively work with department leaders through interviews, surveys, and/or focus groups, to assess and anticipate training needs and to design and implement training solutions across all departments and positions
  • Help promote career growth and increase retention by enhancing employees’ learning opportunities
  • Facilitate classroom learning sessions in-person and virtually, using training/instructional methods appropriate for learning
  • Develop, design, and deliver training curriculum to develop InfoSend employees' hard and soft skills
  • Maintain accurate and complete team member training files
  • Produce and update training guides, quick reference guides, etc.
  • Create various training materials including but not limited to classroom presentations, PowerPoints, e-learnings, videos, handouts, workbooks, and other training & development materials as needed
  • Actively participate in company cultural and engagement activities
  • Track and analyze course evaluation and training program effectiveness, adjusting training materials based on results
  • Track and create reports for training, engagement, and onboarding programs and maintain records for all the department initiatives
  • Research available e-learning portals and learning management systems for tracking company training initiatives and activities
  • Research platforms and delivery methods to conduct training, including in- person sessions, webinars, 1:1 instruction, and case studies
  • Other duties as assigned

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree, preferably in business, human resources, psychology, education or related field
  • Minimum of 2 years’ prior experience as a trainer, preferably administering training programs in a corporate setting
  • Knowledge of principles and methods of curriculum and training design, and teaching for individuals and groups
  • Exceptional organizational and time management skills, ability to meet tight deadlines
  • Strong public speaking skills and the ability to give and receive feedback effectively
  • Excellent verbal / written communication skills, including active listening
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to supervise multiple projects
  • Proficient computer skills, Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Excel)
  • Ability to create various training materials including but not limited to classroom presentations, PowerPoints, e-learnings, videos, handouts, workbooks, etc.
  • Ability to apply principles and techniques of coaching, mentoring, and performance consulting
  • Ability to work individually as well as within a team
  • Ability to be flexible and adaptable to a changing environment, including adjusting training methods and content
  • Spanish language fluency is a plus

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:


The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.

  • Must be physically able to sit for long periods of time, read a computer screen for long periods of time, reach, and lift up to 20 lbs. Hand dexterity, and eye and hand coordination critical. Employee is subject to inside environmental conditions. Employee’s schedule could include after hour projects, as needed. Travel, as needed.
