DevSecOps Lead

Infosys is seeking a DevSecOps Lead. In this role, you will interface with key stakeholders and apply your technical proficiency across different stages of the Software Development Life Cycle including Requirements Elicitation, Application Architecture definition and Design. You will play an important role in creating the high-level design artifacts & in providing frontline application support including troubleshooting , testing & minor enhancements. You will deliver high quality code deliverables for a module, lead validation for all types of testing and support activities related to implementation, transition and warranty. This position is based out of Richardson/Dallas, TX. The candidate can work from anywhere within the U.S. and/or be remote initially. This position may require future relocation and/or travel to project locations.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.
• At least 4 years of experience in Information Technology.
• Hands on knowledge of DevOps tools like Jenkins, GIT, Bitbucket, Docker, BitBucket, Bamboo CI, Hashicorp
• Experience on strategy and practical implementation of AWS Cloud-Specific technologies which include AWS CloudFormation, EC2, ECS, ECR, Fargate, S3, VPC, RDS, CloudFront and other AWS Services.
• Experience in Branching, Merging, Tagging and maintaining the version across the environments using SCM tools like GIT, setting up the new repos and managing the permissions for various GIT branches.
• Experience working on Multiple AWS instances, set the security groups, Elastic Load Balancer and AMIs, Auto scaling to design cost effective, fault tolerant and highly available systems.
• Experience in configuring and maintained Bamboo jobs to implement the CICD process.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience on Terraform
• Experience in configuring and maintained Bamboo jobs to implement the CICD process.
• Experience on creation of custom Docker container images, tagging and pushing the images.
• Experience on Setting up Docker registry for local image storage / management.
• Experience on Infra issues and Managing users & permissions for Bitbucket & Bamboo
• Used JIRA as SCRUM Agile Tool and ServiceNow as an incident management and operations tool
• Monitoring tools used are Dynatrace, Splunk, AppDynamics.
• Operating Systems: Linux & Windows
• Languages: Bash / Shell Script, SQL and YAML
• Bug Reporting & Ticketing Tool: Jira, Service Now, Confluence, SFDC.
• Understand the needs of stakeholders and design and build the required CICD Pipeline
• Evangelize the maturing governance of CI/CD pipelines with partner teams and digest feedback for further efficiency iteration with the goal of maintaining service owner feature velocity.
• Influence and collaborate with various other Infrastructure teams across Organization.
• Interact with a highly innovative and creative team of developers, open-source committers, and architects.
• Evaluate new technologies to solve problems as needed and play a forward-thinking role in test and deploy service design.
• Work on ways to automate and improve deployments and release processes
• Test and examine code written by others and analyzing results. Set Up gating standards for the same.
• Ensure that systems are safe and secure against cybersecurity threats
• Work with software developers and infrastructure engineers to ensure that development and operations teams follow established processes and work as intended

The job entails sitting as well as working at a computer for extended periods of time. Should be able to communicate by telephone, email or face to face. Travel may be required as per the job requirements.
