Infosys is seeking a Test Lead with experience of Functional, Automation and Performance Testing. In this role you will interface with key stakeholders and apply your technical proficiency across different stages of the Software Development Life Cycle including Requirements Elicitation, Application Architecture definition and Design. You will play an important role in creating test strategy, creating test cases. You will also lead validation for all types of testing and support activities related to implementation, transition and warranty. Required Qualifications:
- Candidate must be located within commuting distance of Louisville, Kentucky or be willing to relocate to the area. This position may require travel in the US.
- Functional, Automaton & Performance Testing experience
- Health Care Domain experience (Preferred)
- Good communication and attitude
- Define and present the testing strategy to the customer.
- Develop the test plan for the tasks, dependencies and participants required to mitigate the risks to system quality and obtain stakeholder support for this plan.
- Assign task to all Testing Team members and ensure that all of them have sufficient work in the project.
- Ensure content and structure of all Testing documents / artifacts is documented and maintained.
- Document, implement, monitor, and enforce all processes for testing as per standards defined by the organization.
- Check / Review the Test scenarios and cases with customers, if needed.
- Keep track of the new requirements / change in requirements of the Project.
- Track all the dependencies and risks and close them in timely fashion.
- Organize the status meetings and send the Status Report (Daily, Weekly etc.) to the Client
- Attend the regular client call and discuss the weekly status with the client.
- Act as the single point of contact between Development and Testers.
- Track and prepare the report of testing activities like test testing results, test case coverage, required resources, defects discovered and their status, performance baselines etc.
- Review various reports prepared by Test leads
- Ensure the timely delivery of different testing milestones.
- Prepare / update the metrics dashboard at the end of a phase or at the completion of project
Preferred Qualifications:
- Minimum of eight years of IT experience in some combination of testing, development and project management roles
- Healthcare industry experience – claims, remittance advice, eligibility and prior authorization knowledge is highly valued
- Comfort with API testing tools, e.g. SoapUI, Postman.
- Experience monitoring endpoints in a cloud-based environment with tools such as AppDynamics.
- Comfortable in a high-visibility, individual contributor role with the ability to work cross-functionally and with all levels of the organization.
- Demonstrated ability to lead a team through problem solving and creative solutioning.
- Demonstrated ability to deliver results while balancing competing priorities and timelines
- PowerShell and Unix shell scripting skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Impeccable attention to detail
- 2 years of working experience in Agile methodology.
- 2 years of experience to guide developer & working with client independently
- Experience in automated test scripting would be an added advantage
- Experience and desire to work in a Global delivery environment
- Extensive experience with database technologies (MySQL, MS SQL, PostgreSQL Oracle, MongoDB)
- Experience with cloud services (AWS, Microsoft Azure) a plus
