Safety Specialist / Coordinator - T&D/Substation Construction

 

We are looking for a full time Safety Specialist / Coordinator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of utility construction, transmission & distribution, substation construction & maintenance, and have 3-8 years of experience in the field.

The primary responsibility of this position is to develop, implement, and monitor safety programs for all T&D/substation construction projects. The Safety Specialist / Coordinator will also be responsible for conducting safety inspections, training employees on safety procedures, and investigating accidents.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Safety, Engineering, or a related field. They will also have a strong understanding of OSHA regulations and best practices for safety in the construction industry.

The Safety Specialist / Coordinator will be a member of the project team and will work closely with other project stakeholders to ensure that all projects are completed safely. They will also be responsible for communicating with regulatory agencies and the public about safety issues.
