ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Work with Controller to develop accurate and timely work and to facilitate monthly reporting to executive management and the Board.
• Maintain accurate records of customer accounts and update as necessary.
• Review and record journal entries required to reflect monthly activity.
• Prepare documentation supporting the monthly close process and month-end balances.
• Maintain fixed asset records to coordinate quarterly inventory of fixed assets with the information technology department.
• Collaborate with internal teams to resolve billing discrepancies and ensure timely payment.
• Ensure compliance with all applicable laws, rules, and regulations.
• Ensure accurate and timely production of all financial information.
• Provide excellent customer service by responding to inquiries and resolving issues in a timely payment manner.
• Participate in a wide variety of special projects and develop ad hoc reports as requested.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor’s degree in finance and/or accounting, preferred but not required.
• Exceptional Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint skills.
• Strong ethical standards.
• Conscientious about timeliness of assignments and quality of work product.
• Accountable for specific performance.
• Possesses exceptional written and verbal communication skills, including ability to articulate recommendations in a concise and timely manner.
• Able to handle multiple tasks and maintain control and order over same.
• Proactive mindset, consistently seeking to learn and grow.
• Must be a team player.
