As a Director, Product Design at Infront X, you will shape the future of fan-facing and business-facing products we build during our professional consultative services delivery. By applying your leadership skills, product design acumen, user research, and product intuition, you will help define the experiences we build for millions of fans and hundreds of clients around the world.
You will collaborate on various product and business problems with a diverse set of cross-functional partners across Product Management, Engineering, Research, Data Engineering, Marketing, Sales, Finance and others. You’ll assist our clients in creating compelling digital products and services that meet the needs of both business stakeholders and their customers.
Product Design Leadership
In addition to being a strategic and guiding influence on the products and services we create and refine for our clients, you’ll also be responsible for leading, managing, and nurturing Infront X’s product designers. You’ll help refine our existing design operations to be both effective and efficient, while also creating synergy between product management, data analytics, and technology groups within the agency. At Infront X, we value cross-functional teams that are accountable for the outcomes they produce; you’ll collaborate with other stakeholders to enable that kind of environment.
Responsibilities
- Manage and lead Infront X’s product design team, maintaining team organization, nurturing employees, resource management, and team morale
- Create compelling products and service experiences for clients
- Collaborate with Product Managers, Analytics, and Technology leaders to establish new services and refine existing services
- Forge alliances and create collaborative working relationships across Infront X
- Facilitate design strategy workshops with both Infront X teams and clients, including customer journey mapping, idea generation, co-creation, and more
- Design or delegate the creation of product experiments, contributing thorough and compelling user experience solutions to a variety of user and business oriented product problems
Minimum Requirements
- A Bachelor's degree in a Design or User Experience related field (BFA, BA, BS)
- A minimum of 5 years of work experience in a design supervisory role
- Familiarity with UX Design methodologies including information architecture, user interface, user research, and workshops
- An operational mindset, focused on establishing and enforcing processes, standards, and quality output for design teams
- Experience working in a professional services capacity, such as a digital agency
- A portfolio demonstrating focus and success in creating digital products and services
