Ingenium Business Consulting Services is seeking to hire a remote, part-time account manager with 3 years of professional experience to work 20-30 hours/week.

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING:

You will be joining the Marketing Services team and will be responsible for creating client marketing strategies, managing client relationships, and ensuring that excellent work is delivered.

It is your job to set marketing goals for each client, to communicate the tasks that will support those goals to our implementing team, to make sure the contracts stay within budget, and to make our clients feel supported and valued. You will take primary responsibility and be accountable for Marketing Services quality assurance and client satisfaction.

You will provide close support to the CEO and other sales personnel throughout the sales process with potential Marketing Services clients. You will actively participate in company-wide strategic planning and internal marketing efforts.

  • Responsiveness: This role allows the flexibility of the place and time in which you perform your work. However, 20-30 hours of work will be expected from you each week. Calls, emails, and Slack messages from clients and team members must be responded to within one business day. You will also be required to attend two recurring weekly meetings.

SKILLS WE'RE EXPECTING FROM YOU:

  • Advanced Experience: We need you to have a track record of building effective strategies that will get our clients the results they are expecting. We’re looking for someone who has at least 3 years of experience in digital marketing. This experience may include working at a marketing agency, within a marketing department, or as a freelancer. Preference will be given to candidates with experience in account management. Other desirable skills include Google Analytics analysis, Google Ads management, Facebook Ads management, and building CRM automations.
  • Creative Strategist: This position requires creativity. We work together to provide solutions for our clients, but you must be able to take initiative in helping us find those solutions. In our company, our team members have the flexibility to try new things because we turn failures into learning experiences. All we require is that you be able to provide some reasoning for why you think the strategy will work so that we can set realistic goals for success.
  • Client Communication: In this position, you will be working very closely with our clients and managing client relationships. Our customers’ best interest is at the center of what we do. You must bring that same care into every conversation you have with them, while also ensuring the success of the contract. You must be able to keep clients on goal and on strategy, and not let them (or us) get distracted by “nice to have” projects. You must be able to clearly explain why we are implementing certain strategies when clients push back. You must also be willing to occasionally have some uncomfortable conversations with clients in order to keep projects on time and within budget.
  • Competent and Caring Team Member: We're looking for someone who has the experience, competence, character, and confidence to join our Marketing Services team to work hard and produce consistently excellent work while at the same time cultivating an environment where each team member is uniquely appreciated and supported, and where each team member's passion for and engagement in their work is encouraged.

YOUR JOB LOCATION:

All work will be performed remotely. You will be responsible to provide your own internet connection and quiet work space for client meetings. Ingenium will provide a computer, email address, and access to cloud-based client documentation, project management tools, and Slack.

Should you need to travel to meet with a prospective client (at the discretion of the sales representative), car travel will be compensated according to the IRS standard business mileage rate. Other expenses (including meals) will need to be approved by the CEO in advance.

COMPENSATION:

For the first 90 days you will be compensated at a rate of $25.00 per hour.

After the initial 90 days, your hourly rate will be reevaluated and may be increased up to $35 based upon your job performance.
