What are the responsibilities and job description for the Project Coordinator position at Ingenium Talent?
We are looking to hire a Project Coordinator to join our team. The Project Coordinator will guide the work of the technical staff and serve as a liaison between the business and technical aspects of projects. They will also handle the planning, initiating, and coordinating of aftersales machine projects from customer request until final payment is complete.
Specific Responsibilities and Essential Functions:
- Approach customers proactively and make them aware of possible upgrades for their machinery
- Gather required project information via email, telephone, or travel to customer site
- Convert engineering advice into quotations by fully understanding the content
- Promote, sell and explain your quotations to customers
- Coordinate aftersales machine projects by priority and/or deadlines
- Collaborate with others to resolve project obstacles
- Coordinate project execution to ensure adherence to budget, schedule, and scope
- Align and coordinate with our service team the installation of the project
- Release invoice and ensure payments are received
- Follow up on past due invoices
- Generate departmental financial and progress reports
Qualifications:
- Three to five years of experience in customer service, sales support, or project coordination
- Strong attention to detail
- Proficient with computers and software. Microsoft Word, -Excel, -Powerpoint, and -Outlook
- Possess strong interpersonal and organizational skills with a focus on quality work
- English communication and writing skills
- Mechanical/Electrical understanding desirable
- ERP System
- Spanish as a first or second language is a plus
