What are the responsibilities and job description for the Studio Production Manager position at Ingenuity Studios?
Ingenuity Studios is seeking a full-time Studio Production Manager to oversee the management of the studio’s internal resources to help successfully deliver projects on time and within budget. This position will act as a liaison between artists, producers and management, and keep a general “pulse” on the workload of the studio.
Responsibilities
- Oversee the Production Management team, who are responsible for assigning artists and managing artists’ time on a daily basis
- Review and assess incoming projects to help determine required resources
- Build and maintain an internal resource schedule, plotting workload against available resources
- Communicate regularly with Recruitment team to forecast and prioritize the needs for additional resources for existing and future projects
- Ensure 2D and 3D teams are meeting production goals on a weekly basis
- Ensure assets flow smoothly from look development to CG, to compositing, both in terms of consistent visuals and orderly workflow
- Work closely with Producers and Coordinators to maintain the schedule and ensure that all deliveries and milestones are met efficiently
- Key point of contact for issues arising in projects and escalating issues and recommendations to Senior Management team
Requirements
- Minimum of three year of the VFX production management experience, preferably in episodic
- Knowledge of Shotgun preferred
- Thorough knowledge of all VFX disciplines (compositing, modeling, animation, lighting, FX, etc.)
- Comprehensive knowledge of Production pipelines
- Proficient in Excel
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- High level problem solving skills
- Able to thrive in a fast-pace work environment
- Ability to produce results with limited oversight and management
- Adept at identifying potential bottlenecks and responding with solution based thinking
