Title: Oracle DBA Lead
Location: San Antonio, TX or Irvine, CA (Onsite)
Duration: Long Term
Comments from Client: Need OEM, Lead exp is not required, Ansible/Python, AWS/ Azure/Cloud
Job Summary: The Oracle DBA will be responsible for the implementation, configuration, maintenance, and performance of critical DB servers, to ensure the availability and consistent performance of the applications. This is a hands-on position requiring solid technical skills as well as excellent interpersonal and communication skills. The person should have experience in leading the team.
Responsibilities:
- 8 Years’ experience in database administration, operations, and production support
- Experience in leading a team with 10 people in rotational shifts.
- Excellent knowledge in resolving performance tuning issues.
- Experience in Monitoring, backup/ Recovery Management, DB Provisioning/de-provisioning, DB refresh/restore, HA/DRE, Patching, migration, replication, and upgrades
- Understanding of Incident Management, Problem Management, and Change Management
- Experience in tools such as Service Now, JIRA, Confluence
- Ability to document solutions and train operational teams
- Experience with Amazon Web Services or Azure is a plus
- Experience with automation, Ansible, and Python is a plus
- Experience in Cohesity, Oracle Enterprise Manager (OEM) Cloud Control, SQL Server, Sybase, Postgres, Cloudera, and Hadoop is a plus.

- Experience in Automation skills (Ansible etc)

Salary : $60 - $65
