Basic Functions :

• Implement product design, product components, and compatible combinations of product components utilizing proven engineering methods to achieve cost targets and desired machine utility.
• Prepare 3-D CAD configuration models and drawings organizing arrangement and relationship of key components.
• Establish liaison with production team to ensure product documentation is accurate and adequate for efficient assembly.
• Interface with Purchasing, Manufacturing Engineering, Inventory Analyst and Production Planning to determine design change requirements.
• Generate Engineering Change Notices.

Minimum Qualifications:

• B.S.M.E. or similar degree (preferred) with 4 years of experience
• Proficient with 3-D CAD and large assemblies (SolidWorks required)
• Experience creating 2-D detailed drawings for manufacturing in SolidWorks
• Experience with SAP desired but not required
• Rotating Machinery design experience preferred
• Experience with piping, tubing, wiring (conduit) design
• Experience with welded frames, bracketry, and piping design
• At minimum must be a lawful Permanent Resident of the US, as this role is not eligible for Visa Sponsorship
