The Company
Ingles Markets began in 1963 as a single supermarket and has since grown into a regional grocery store chain with just under 200 retail locations operating in 6 southeastern states, a 1.6-million-square foot distribution center, two truck fleets, and a milk processing plant.
The Position
Our Produce team members work diligently to inspect and prepare each item to ensure that only the highest quality products meet our shelves. Everyone here is passionate about presentation. From our local organic produce to our fresh made guacamole, no item is out of place. When you first start, you'll spend time training alongside your most skilled teammates. All team members will assist with cleaning, preparing, and packaging products, stocking, merchandising, and helping to maintain our strict sanitization standards.
The Candidate
Ideal candidates will possess interpersonal and communication skills which will allow them to provide exceptional customer service while maintaining a high level of productivity, and complying with all safety and sanitation procedures; related experience is a plus.
