Job Description
Ingram Content Group (ICG) is hiring a Facility Services Specialist to contribute to our Operations team in La Vergne, TN. The Facility Services specialist performs a variety of functions within Facility Services and conducts repair and preventive maintenance functions for the LS facility, to include: inspecting HVAC filters, performing PM’s ensuring condensation lines are clean and washing coils, keeping weekly logs and records of our HVAC equipment and maintenance functions. Must be able to work in a team environment setting. Needs to be able to do minor plumbing or repairs, carpentry, electrical, HVAC.

Key Responsibilities:
- Receives and provides initial investigation/analysis of service requests, estimates time and material cost of projects, and develops and executes plan of action required to effectively resolve service requests.
- Completes service requests as received through the work order system including drywall repair, paint, plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and other requests.
- Monitors and maintains building and equipment systems, including: humidification system settings, water softener and filtration systems; drinking water filtration systems; exterior door latches and locking mechanisms; windows; and roof leaks.
- Maintains chart and web-based recording systems and makes adjustments based on noted observations.
- Maintains adequate store of supplies to complete repairs/maintenance.
- Monitors deployment of contractors while on-site insuring proper credentials and building access needed to perform tasks.
- Installs signage such as: restricted area zones, facility utility areas, etc.
- Checks emergency equipment to ensure proper function and placement and emergency exits to ensure egress meets codes requirements at all times.
- Ensures all chemicals are properly stored on pallet containers or FM approved cabinets as required by law.
- Maintains universal waste accumulation/disposal and initiates physical transfer of HAZMAT to authorized carriers.
- Monitors recycle and waste disposal service validation.
- Installs building hardware such as door handles and locking mechanisms.
- Performs all work in accordance with established safety procedures.
- Serves as a resource to others in the resolution of complex problems and issues.
- Oversees office/cubicle set up and relocation of office associates.
Essential Physical Demands:
- Ability to walk and stand continuously during the assigned shift.

- Ability to lift/carry in full range of motion up to 50 lbs. during the assigned shift – up to 35 lbs frequently and up to 50 lbs occasionally
- Ability to push/pull in a manufacturing environment up to 50 lbs to push during the assigned shift.
- Ability to grip/grasp continuously during the assigned shift.
- Ability to bend, twist/turn, reach above shoulder, and type/keyboard frequently during the assigned shift.
- Ability to work designated shift including overtime as required.
- Exposure to wide range of temperatures.
- Ability to read, write, speak, hear, see, think, communicate, concentrate, learn, and work
- Ability to sit at workstation for extended periods of time
- Ability to work effectively using a personal computer for long periods of time
- Ability to operate computer equipment, including keyboard and monitor, phone equipment and other necessary office equipment
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- 3 years of experience in building and facility maintenance
- 2 years of plumbing, electrical, and HVAC
- 2 years of experience directing outside contractors
