Responsibilities:

As the Medicare Risk Adjustment Director, you will:

• Lead and oversee risk adjustment programs to ensure accurate documentation and coding practices.
• Hire, train, develop and coach staff.
• Develop and implement strategies to optimize Medicare reimbursement through risk score improvement.
• Develop working relationships with external vendors including care plans to ensure ongoing support for company objectives are meeting or exceeding industry standards.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including coding specialists, clinicians, and data analysts.
• Stay current with industry trends and regulations to drive continuous improvement.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in healthcare management, business administration, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in Medicare risk adjustment leadership roles.
• In-depth knowledge of CMS guidelines, HCC coding, and risk adjustment methodologies.
• Strong understanding of CMS guidelines and regulations.
• Proven track record of successful program development and implementation.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.
