Tattoo Artist

Job Summary:
We are seeking a talented and experienced Tattoo Artist to join our team. As a Tattoo Artist, you will be responsible for creating unique and personalized tattoo designs for our clients. You will work closely with clients to understand their vision and provide expert advice on design, placement, and aftercare. The ideal candidate has a strong artistic ability, excellent customer service skills, and a passion for creating stunning tattoos.

Responsibilities:
- Consult with clients to understand their tattoo ideas and preferences
- Create custom tattoo designs based on client specifications
- Provide guidance and recommendations on design, placement, and size
- Ensure a clean and sterile work environment by following proper sanitation procedures
- Perform tattoo application using safe and professional techniques
- Educate clients on proper aftercare instructions to promote healing and prevent infection
- Maintain accurate records of client information, design details, and consent forms
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, techniques, and best practices

Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Tattoo Artist with a strong portfolio of previous work
- In-depth knowledge of tattooing techniques, styles, and color theory
- Proficient in illustrating and sketching designs by hand or using computer software
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively with clients
- Strong attention to detail and ability to execute intricate designs accurately
- Knowledge of store management practices is a plus
- Familiarity with sales techniques to promote additional services or products is beneficial
- Ability to maintain a clean and organized workstation
- Certification in first aid is preferred

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $50,933.00 - $55,776.00 per year

Expected hours: No less than 20 per week
