Position Summary/Position
The Digital Content Designer is an innovative, self-motivated, highly confidential, passionate, creative professional who helps drives visual storytelling efforts, in support of IEHP’s CEO Office. The Executive Communications – Digital Content Designer, will work closely with the department director to develop creative and appealing digital content, i.e., high-quality power point presentations, videos, social media, digital/email graphics, photography, surveys and other visual materials that promote IEHP’s strategic goals and raise the visibility of the CEO office. Major Functions (Duties and Responsibilities)
1. Recommends and highlights content by conceptualizing and executing the visual storytelling efforts and digital strategy of the Chief Executive Officer (CEO).
2. Ideates, creates, produces, and edits a steady stream of digital content including, power points, social media posts, emails, short-form social media videos, surveys, reports and other digital graphics for the Chief Executive Officer (CEO).
3. Brainstorms projects and works collaboratively with the executive communications writer, editor, marketing and communications writers and designers, and external clients.
4. Delivers polished, final, product ready content, according to specified deadlines to educate various key audiences about key IEHP and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) strategic initiatives.
5. Monitors engagement and assesses analytics, utilizing and reporting data to provide guidance for the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) communication initiatives.
6. Travels to various locations throughout Southern California to capture the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) presence with basic photography and in office with existing material to create engaging visual content.
7. Stays up to date on current trends and advancements in healthcare and culture.
8. Ensures the privacy and security of PHI (Protected Health Information) as outlined in IEHP’s policies and procedures relating to HIPAA compliance.
9. Ensures the graphics are consistent with IEHP brand and style guidelines.
Supervisory Responsibilities Leading: Self Experience Qualifications
Five (5) years of employment experience designing, writing, editing, newspaper, magazine, website, and/or corporate communications content, digital content, marketing, public relations content and experience creating social media visual content.
Preferred Experience
Experience with HTML coding a plus. Education Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in digital marketing, graphic design, communications, public relations, video, film, journalism or related field from an accredited institution required. Drivers License Required Yes, must have a valid California Driver's License. Knowledge Requirement
- Knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (Phototshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Acrobat)
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (PowerPoint, Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Knowledge of Canva Platform
- Knowledge of website content management.
- Knowledge in social media platforms and current trends for, including, but not limited to, TikTok, Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, and YouTube.
- Knowledge of social media KPIs, web traffic metrics and SEO.
- Knowledge of photography ,video editing/production. Skills Requirement

Working Conditions
General office environment; using computer keyboard and screens; travel within California and other states if needed. Ability to travel to locations throughout Southern California. Ability to work some weekends. Position is eligible for Hybrid work location upon completing the necessary steps and receiving HR approval. All IEHP positions approved for telecommute or hybrid work locations may periodically be required to report to IEHP’s main campus for mandatory in-person meetings or for other business needs as determined by IEHP leadership. Could require after-hour attendance at events. A reasonable salary expectation is between $79,809.60 and $101,774.40, based upon experience and internal equity.
