Job Description
We are seeking friendly, professional, customer-focused individuals to wait tables in a moderately fast-paced hotel restaurant. The ideal applicant will be someone with food service experience, a team-player with excellent communication skills, who is capable of adapting to situations as they arise.
This position requires a valid food handler’s permit.
MUST BE AVAILABLE TO WORK WEEKENDS AND MORNINGS
Application Requirements
Strong references
Experience in the customer service industry
Flexible schedule
Ability to read, speak, and understand the English language in order to communicate more effectively with guests and coworkers.
Ability to work well with other individuals and team members
Working knowledge of common food, beverage, and restaurant terminology
Ability to think flexibly and respond to situations as they arise.
Some knowledge of computers or the use of Point of Sale (POS) systems preferred
Job Responsibilities
Respond to guest requests in a timely, friendly, and efficient manner
Ensure correct orders get to the accurate tables as quickly as possible
Retrieve and deliver food and beverage orders in a prompt, efficient manner
Ensure guests have a pleasant dining experience throughout reservation
Ensure all interactions with guests and fellow team members remain respectful and professional
Maintain a neat, clean, professional appearance and demeanor
